Our mountain bike hire and service centre is conveniently located directly outside the exit of Hassocks Railway Station (BN6 8HN) on the southbound side (platform 2, towards Brighton).
Near Brighton (10 mins), near London (50 mins), on the South Downs Way, eight miles from Lewes. We are perfectly placed on the London to Brighton train line for active days out from either city, or a day trip including all three locations. The Hassocks pub, located just to the east of the shop, serves food and drinks and has a beer garden with climbing frames and other activities for children.
Our new Saracen Mantra mountain bikes are available for hire all year round. We also have children’s bikes and family rates, making for a great fun family day out.

How it works:
We are open regularly from 10am until 1pm on Saturday. To check availability or to make a booking outside of these hours send us an email with your requirements and a contact number at visithassocksbikes@gmail.com.
Outside regular hours, we will arrange to meet you at our hire centre at an agreed time. We ask you to phone us about half an hour before you return the bikes to give us time to get up to the shop and open up.
As this is an on demand service, we cannot guarantee to provide a hire at short notice. We would appreciate it if you would inform us as soon as possible if you have a change of plan.
